The visit to the Apuan Alps Geopark starts from the ApuanGeoLab in Equi Terme (Fivizzano Municipality). The Museum Guide, Maria Chiara, shows the interactive exhibits.
Mr. Ali Abbes, mining engineer and geologist, is accompanied by dr. Giuseppe Ottria, scientific advisor, and dr. Alessia Amorfini, geopark manager.

In the afternoon, the appointment with the President of the "Garfagnana" Municipalities Union, Mario Puppa, also Mayor of Careggine.

To follow, the meeting with the Stakeholders of the Apuan Alps Geopark.

Before sunset, the visit to the Park Office in Mont'Alfonso Fortress, where the Park Vice-President, Vittorio Torre, welcomes the Tunisian Guest.

This is the magic moment of the Mt. Corchia tour. The first meeting is with Margherita, the young guide of the karst-mining system.

The Guide explains the itinerary and the specificities of the largest karst complex of Italy.

The Park Director, Antonio Bartelletti and Alessia Amorfini describe the underground mining techniques and marble varieties of the Mt. Corchia quarries.

The tour continues into the Museums of the Corchia Underground System in Levigliani (Stazzema Municipality). The delegation is in the first room of the Museum of Community and Company "Work in Freedom".
Dr. Mauro Cesaretti ("Medina" NGO) is also present.

The incessant tour ends with the visit to tourist paths in the "Quicksilver" Mines of Levigliani.
