A big event during the 2016 Geoweek in the Apuan Alps.
The Unesco Global Geopark proposed the public presentation of the Geomorphological and Neotectonic Map, after the "historical" publication of the same cartographic tool. The initial phase of the mapping project on the Apuan Alps geological heritage ended fifteen years after the release of the first Park Geological Map.
